The Big Carving Vase is the single most substantial piece in the Ubhika collection. Seventeen inches across, the body is a deep, full-bellied bowl in brass, silver-plated and covered in hand-chased panels of foliate and floral carving worked in fine relief — the kind of surface that takes an artisan days rather than hours.
Two sculptural handles rise from the rim, each crowned with a small cast bird, and the whole vessel sits on its own turned pedestal stand. The result reads less like a vase and more like a piece of plate you would find in an old collection. Fill it with a full arrangement, float flowers in it, or leave it entirely empty on a console — it does not need help.
Brass with silver plating, hand-carved throughout. Supplied with the matching stand.
For the gift that has to be the gift: landmark weddings, significant anniversaries, and corporate presentations at the highest level.
