The Gold Gota Tray is a fabric-covered tray finished in traditional gota work — the metallic ribbon craft of Rajasthan — applied as vertical bands around the sides and a fine gota lace edging along the rim.
The body is covered in a warm gold silk, and the gota banding catches light along every side, so the tray photographs as well as it presents. These are the trays used for shagun, trousseau, milni and mithai at Indian weddings, and for good reason: they are light, they stack, and they make whatever you put in them look considered.
Handcrafted fabric and gota work. Available in Large 13" x 17" and Medium 11" x 15" and Small 9" x 13" as a set of three. Also available in pink.
