The Peacock Silver Plated Urli is one of the most theatrical pieces in the Ubhika collection. Ten individual peacock figurines are perched around the scalloped rim of a 10-inch silver-plated urli — each cast separately, standing in profile, wings and tail slightly raised — creating a procession of birds around the edge that makes the bowl look like the centrepiece of a royal court.
The exterior of the bowl carries a deeply embossed foliate and feather pattern, and the entire piece sits on three curved leg. The interior is smooth and wide enough to hold water and floating flowers, tealites, or fruit.
One of the most photographed pieces in the range. Silver-plated throughout with individually cast peacock figurines.
